Thank you very much for coming to my blog. My name is David, I am 47 years old and live in London (UK). I have two sons: Richard (18) and Adam (16).
In 2009 I was sent to work in Toronto to help build a TV Broadcast facility at Corus Quay. Whilst there I met the Malinsky/Jones family (AKA Chris, Shana & Harvey) who, after many beers on many occasions, persuaded me to became involved in the 2011 Friends for Life Bike Rally.

The rally is a 600km sponsored bicycle ride from Toronto to Montreal and raises money for the Toronto People with Aids Foundation.
In 2012 I brought my two sons Richard and Adam hoping they would see HIV for what it is and not stigmatise those with it and also I wanted them to have an education about HIV and become safe sex advocates amongst their peers.
They valued the experience and enjoyed everyone so much that we are doing it again in 2013 for the 15th anniversary year.
For clarity, I pay for all our flights and expenses but we need to raise a minimum sponsorship set by PWA of $10,000. This will allow the three of us plus Richard's boyfriend David to ride. David is a very hardworking young man who studies, works in a bar kitchen (since he was 15 yrs old) and helps support his family with the little money he earns. I would very much like David to have the same experience and education that my sons have been lucky enough to receive.
